Our individualized curriculum guarantees that each lifter progresses at their own pace; prioritizing proper form and appropriate weights for continuous improvement. Young lifters not only build strength and muscle, but cultivate life skills like self-confidence, determination, and executive functioning during a critical phase of their development.

Learn to Lift is Mighty Movement’s introductory program designed for youth grades 6th-12th who have little or no lifting experience. Lifters learn strength training techniques, gym etiquette, and basic training progressions simplified specifically for beginners.

Classes start with the lightest weights and most basic movements, then progress to heavier weights at their own pace. Lifters receive personalized instruction and feedback from our professional coaches in a non-competitive environment with an emphasis on learning and improving.

YOUTH WEIGHTLIFTING

Build Strength.Unlock Determination.Develop a Consistent Habit.

Youth Weightlifting is Mighty Movement’s core lifting program. It consists of two hourlong classes per week where lifters work with a small group of their peers to practice the most powerful and effective weightlifting movements.

Lifters are prescribed individualized sets, reps and weights based on their previous lifts, form and experience to guarantee continuous strength gains. Students then execute their program under direct coach supervision to ensure safety and focused effort toward technique mastery. The goal of this program to start a routine of effective strength training that will be a habit for the rest of their life.
